Docyt Enterprise Suite

Your books, in the AI assistant you already use.

Connect Docyt to Claude and ask about last year's revenue, this month's margins or which properties are missing a bank statement. The answer comes straight from your live books, read-only, with the source and the period stated. ChatGPT and Muse are next.

From a real Claude session on a Docyt demo business.

Two minutes: a hotel portfolio asks Claude about revenue, margins, hotel KPIs and the close, and every answer comes from its Docyt books.

Beyond the number

Ask a follow-up. Get the analysis your controller would do.

Claude doesn't stop at a total. Ask for profit centers and it pairs every income line with its cost, works out the margin, and tells you which lines are carrying the business and which are losing money. Then it offers the spreadsheet.

  • Margins by line, built from your Profit and Loss
  • Pass-through lines called out, not counted as profit
  • Lines that lost money flagged, with a likely reason
  • Says when a figure may still move

Same session, shortened to fit.

Examples

Ask it the way you'd ask your controller.

Name the property or business you mean. Portfolio questions work when your account has portfolio access.

Show me the profit and loss for the Hampton Inn last month.

How does September revenue compare to last year, by property?

What were occupancy, ADR and RevPAR across the portfolio last week?

Give me a portfolio summary for the quarter.

Which properties have bank statements missing?

How much did we pay our linen vendor this year?

How many transactions are waiting for review?

Which lines lost money last year, and by how much?

Why the answer is right

Not a guess. Your books.

A general-purpose assistant answers from whatever you paste into it. Connected to Docyt, it reads the same ledger Docyt categorizes, reconciles and closes for you.

From the ledger, not a paste

Claude reads the reports Docyt keeps current, so the number in the chat is the number in your financials. No exports, no stale spreadsheets.

As you, and only you

The assistant sees the businesses and reports your Docyt permissions already allow, and nothing else. It cannot change a transaction, a vendor or a setting.

Honest about what's final

If a report is still refreshing or a period is still under review, the assistant tells you the figure may move. Docyt's own totals are used, never a sum of a partial list.

FAQ

AI assistants and Docyt: frequently asked questions

Which AI assistants work with Docyt?

Claude works with Docyt today: find Docyt in Claude's connectors directory and connect. ChatGPT and Muse are coming soon.

What can the assistant see?

The businesses your Docyt account can access, their financial and operating reports, KPIs from Insights, portfolio summaries if you have portfolio access, transaction totals and searches, and bank statement status.

Can the assistant change my books?

No. The connection is read-only. The assistant cannot categorize, verify or edit a transaction, upload a document, or change a vendor, category or setting. Do those in Docyt.

Does the assistant provider see my books?

The assistant receives only the data needed to answer what you ask, as with anything you type into it. Docyt does not share your books with the assistant provider outside your questions. See the privacy notice.

Does it work for every business I manage?

It works for every business your Docyt account can see. Reports and transactions work for every business; KPIs are available for businesses set up with Insights, such as hotels.

How is this different from BooksGPT?

Both answer from the same Docyt books. BooksGPT lives inside Docyt with saved conversations and a source link into every report. Connecting Claude brings the same numbers into the assistant your team already uses.
