The back office that speaks hotel
Hotel accounting software that closes the books every day
Docyt is the AI-native ERP built for hotels. It reads your PMS every night, pays your vendors, reconciles every deposit, closes the month with zero catch-up days, and delivers the daily flash before your morning stand-up. One system for payments, accounting and business intelligence, across one property or two hundred.
Why hotels outgrow generic accounting
A hotel's books start at the night audit. Most accounting software starts at the bank statement.
Between the two sit a dozen hotel-only problems: guest and city ledgers, OTA commissions and virtual cards, merchant batches that settle short, tips and service charges, labor per occupied room, and owners who want a USALI statement by the 5th. Docyt was built for exactly that gap.
One system
One platform for the hotel finance back office.

Revenue accounting and reconciliation
Night audit and POS reports posted nightly, mapped to USALI, tied to card batches, cash and OTA payouts.
Bill pay & accounts payable
Invoices captured, coded, de-duplicated and approved on mobile. Paid by ACH, check or card across every property.
Corporate card management
Cards for GMs and department heads with live budgets, text-to-receipt capture and automatic coding.
Bank and card reconciliation
Every account reconciled daily against feeds and verified statements. Nothing missing, nothing doubled.
Payroll and labor accounting
Payroll registers become journal entries by department. Labor cost per occupied room tracked daily.
Month-end close
Accruals, prepaids, depreciation and intercompany posted on schedule. Your controller reviews an exception list.
Multi-entity accounting & consolidation reporting
Every property, owner entity and the management company in one place. Management fees, intercompany, owner packages.
Daily revenue flash & USALI reporting
Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue, labor and GOP by property and portfolio, from reconciled actuals.
Budgeting, forecasting and scenarios
Driver-based budgets, rolling forecasts from pace and pickup, and what-if models that flow to GOP.
Revenue leakage
Where 1 to 3 percent of hotel revenue goes missing.
On a $2 million revenue economy hotel, leakage across six categories can add up to roughly $45,000 a year of pure margin. None of it shows on a monthly P&L, because the P&L records what the PMS said you earned, not what the bank received.
| Leak | Illustrative, per property per year | How Docyt catches it |
|---|---|---|
| OTA reconciliation | $14,000 | Payouts matched to the booking; commission and virtual card variances flagged |
| Folio exceptions | $11,000 | Folio balance anomalies surfaced daily before they become write-offs |
| Merchant deposits | $8,000 | Every card batch matched to the settlement; short deposits flagged next morning |
| Loyalty and rewards | $5,000 | Brand reimbursements reconciled to redemptions |
| Chargebacks | $4,000 | Chargebacks tracked, documented and contested inside the deadline |
| Tax and fee variance | $3,000 | Collected versus calculated occupancy and sales tax, every night |
Illustrative estimate for a $2M revenue economy hotel. Your number depends on channel mix and processor.

FAQ
Hotel accounting software: frequently asked questions
What is hotel accounting software?
Hotel accounting software records and reports a hotel's finances in the structure the industry uses (USALI departments, rooms and F&B revenue centers, PAR and POR metrics) and connects to the systems a hotel runs on: the property management system, point of sale, payroll and bank. Docyt goes further: it does the accounting work itself with AI agents, so revenue posts nightly, accounts reconcile daily and the month closes with zero catch-up days.
Does Docyt work with my PMS?
Docyt connects to 20+ property management systems including Oracle OPERA, Hilton OnQ and PEP, Marriott FSPMS, choiceADVANTAGE, Sabre SynXis, HotelKey, SkyTouch, Visual Matrix, Mews, StayNTouch and more, and Docyt AI can read the night audit package from any PMS. See the PMS integrations page for yours.
Is Docyt USALI compliant?
Yes. Docyt ships USALI 12th edition chart of accounts templates, departmental P&L, operator statements with PAR and POR on every line, and the undistributed and non-operating sections lenders and brands expect. Custom charts of accounts are supported for portfolios with their own standards.
Can Docyt handle multiple properties and multiple owners?
Yes. Docyt is multi-entity by design: each property, ownership entity and the management company live under one login with entity-level permissions, intercompany tracking, management fee accounting, and consolidated or combined reporting. Multi-owner permissioning lets each owner see only their properties without duplicate books.
Do I still need a bookkeeper or controller?
Docyt replaces the keying, chasing and reconciling, not the judgment. Most portfolios keep a controller or director of finance who reviews exceptions and owns the numbers, and reassign or avoid hiring the accounting clerks. Docyt's outcome-based service adds our own accounting team to review and deliver audit-ready books if you prefer not to staff it at all.
How long does it take to go live?
Within 24 hours of receiving your exports. Send your chart of accounts, general ledger by year and trial balances from your current system; the Migration Agent maps them to USALI, validates every file to the cent and imports the whole portfolio overnight. You review the mapping and opening balances the next morning and the properties are live, with PMS connections following in the first week. Catch-up of unreconciled months is scoped separately.
What does Docyt cost for a hotel?
Hotel plans start at $299 per property per month for the Accounting Suite, with Payments and Business Intelligence Suites available as add-ons or as the full Enterprise Suite. See the pricing page or ask for a portfolio quote.
